Evil Forest

So last night, had this dream where I was with a group of "friends" (people I've never seen before) and we were searching/investigating this forest becuase one of our friends had gone missing after being in the forest before. We found a place to set up camp. Some people went off to search the area, one guy was setting up a tent and I was over by this stone wall (just randomly in the middle of the forest...). I think I was supposed to be collecting firewood but I was more interested in something else. There were these twigs, all cut to the same size and width and they were stacked on top of each other in 2 little piles against the wall. Not big piles, just a couple inches high. I was moving the twigs around, messing up the piles when I heard the guy setting up the tent shout out. I looked over and he was ok, he just stumbled back a bit after his foot went down in to a hole (that I'm sure wasn't there before). I went back to the piles, and after moving some twigs, I found an odd coin. I was about to pick up the coin when I heard screaming and a noise that could only be described as a blender whir. I looked up and the guy was halfway in the hole he stumbled on, screaming and flailing his arms. I ran over and grabbed him and began to pull as hard as I could. Something had him on the other end and wasn't letting go. I couldn't see what it was becuase it was too dark in the hole. There was a lot of blood though. The rest of the group came running back and they were terrified and screaming too. I managed to pull the guy out but....only half of him. He was now just a torso, arms and head, he was still alive too. He told me to wrap him up to stop the bleeding, so I grabbed some shirts and ripped them a bit and wrapped him from the bottom up. Somehow he managed to stay alive. Then it cuts over to a tree somewhere in the forest. There is a demonic old face on the tree, it says something and then I am running down a hill covered in snow with someone else. There's a giant snowball after us. There's a town below. Then suddenly, I'm in the town with the person. It's a guy. Everyone in the town looks, and is dressed the same. It seems the town is in the middle of the forest, and there's no way out becuase the only way is to go through the forest....which is evil. The dream ends there
